11/2023 Fragment Named the Best Residential Project

The prestigious “Best of Realty” competition has recognized the unique Fragment rental building, awarding it top honors in two categories. Fragment was named the winning larger residential project and also became the environmental building of the year.
The Fragment Karlín project won in the Larger Residential Projects category for its exceptional architecture, high-quality craftsmanship, sophisticated details, and smart technology for managing both the entire building and individual apartment units. Fragment was also named the Environmental Project of the Year. The jury praised it as an exemplary demonstration of using innovative solutions and a comprehensive approach to creating a sustainable residential building. Furthermore, the building fully utilizes an operational BIM model.
The jury also noted that the apartment building, adorned with remarkable works of art, has enriched the map of Prague’s architectural landmarks, attracting the attention of both domestic and international visitors to the capital.
In 2023, the “Best of Realty” nominations were open to projects completed in the Czech Republic after January 1, 2022, across five main categories: Residential Projects, Administrative Centers, Shopping Centers, Hotels, and Warehouse & Industrial Complexes. When evaluating the nominated projects, the jury focused on key aspects such as urban and architectural design, contribution to the local area, quality of execution, commercial success, and sustainability.
The winners were selected by an eleven-member jury composed of experts from the Association for Real Estate Market Development (ARTN), banks, urban planners, architects, market analysts, and real estate agents. This year’s edition of the “Real Estate Oscars” saw a record-breaking 83 nominated projects.
