Unique Fragment Rental Building Wins Prestigious CEEQA Award, Named Residential Development of the Year

25. 7. 2024

An original and unconventional building demonstrating the symbiosis between architecture, art, and residential development has won the prestigious CEEQA award and been named Residential Development of the Year. Fragment represents a new chapter in rental housing and is the result of a collaboration between developer Trigema, the Qarta architektura studio, and artist David Černý.

Fragment Karlín received the top honor and was named CEEQA Residential Development of the Year, an award considered among the most prestigious in the real estate sector across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). This year’s exceptional projects, companies, and real estate professionals in the region were announced at the CEEQA 2024 Gala in Warsaw, attended by nearly 600 executives and figures from the industry’s most influential companies.

Fragment is a premium rental housing project offering 140 unique, fully furnished apartments for rent, with layouts ranging from studios to generous duplexes with rooftop terraces. In addition to designer furnishings, rental living at Fragment promises absolute comfort and a worry-free household experience. Tenants can take advantage of reception and facility management services, as well as assistance with other needs such as routine maintenance, major repairs, cleaning, or parcel delivery. Living at Fragment is defined by state-of-the-art technological solutions for maximum comfort. It is no wonder the project also succeeded in the prestigious Best of Realty competition, where it was named the winning Larger Residential Project and Environmental Building of the Year.

„Fragment is an ambitious project that aims to rewrite the chapter of rental housing in the Czech Republic. By blending art and design in both its exteriors and interiors, offering value-added services, and maintaining a high standard, it goes far beyond the boundaries of 'ordinary' residential housing. It is the flagship of our 'Developer Of Different' concept. The CEEQA award is further proof that we are moving in the right direction,” says Marcel Soural, Chairman of the Board of the Trigema investment group.

Among the CEEQA 2024 winners was also the Masaryčka revitalization project in Prague by Penta Real Estate, which was named Office Development of the Year and CEE Building of the Year. The success of these two unique Czech projects—the flagships of Trigema and Penta Real Estate—in this prestigious international competition highlights the bold and extraordinary architectural solutions and the fearless approach of Czech developers.
